Hi, I'm Christina. I've been exactly where you are.
I was an NCAA swimming champion, and I burned out more than once along the way. Funny thing is, the weight room was always where I felt happiest. Swimming could wear me down, but lifting made me feel strong and reminded me I was an athlete.
After college I swapped the pool for half marathons and marathons. Same pattern: push harder, chase the next goal, prove something to myself. I burned out again. I stopped lifting, lost muscle, gained weight, and honestly forgot what it felt like to feel athletic.
So I went back to strength training. I became a personal trainer and hired a coach of my own, because I wanted to learn how to structure training and nutrition for more freedom, not more obsession.
Now strength is the foundation of my life instead of the thing that consumes it. It's why I have the energy to climb, hike, ski, do yoga and travel. I never wanted fitness to be my whole life. I wanted it to make the rest of my life better.
That's what I want for you.
